Purchase Information: When you purchase a subscription or restore a previous purchase, payment information is processed by RevenueCat, our third-party payment processor.

Information Collected Automatically

Location Data: With your permission, we collect your approximate location (when the app is in use) solely to show you the nearest ferry terminal. You can disable location permissions at any time through your device settings.
Trip Weather Data: When you view trip weather, the App sends the ferry route’s approximate midpoint and forecast time to Apple’s WeatherKit. These coordinates describe the ferry route, not your device’s location.
Usage Data: We collect basic information about how you interact with the App, such as which features you use and how often you use them.
Device Information: We collect information about your mobile device, including model, operating system version, and unique device identifiers.
Crash and Error Diagnostics: When the App encounters a crash or error, we may collect diagnostic information such as stack traces, app version, device model, operating system version, and an anonymous app-generated user identifier to help us fix bugs. This data is processed by Sentry and is not intended to include personal information you enter in the App.

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

Show you the nearest ferry terminal based on your location (when permitted)
Show weather conditions for a selected ferry trip through Apple WeatherKit
Process your subscription purchase and renewal status through RevenueCat
Track your search usage to determine when to prompt for a subscription
Improve the App and develop new features
Troubleshoot technical issues and diagnose crashes

We do not sell your personal information. We share your information only in the following circumstances:

Service Providers: We share limited information with third-party vendors who help us operate the App, such as Apple WeatherKit for trip forecasts, RevenueCat for payment processing, and Sentry for crash and error reporting.
Legal Requirements: We may disclose your information if required by law or to protect our rights or the safety of our users.

Third-Party Services

RevenueCat

We use Sentry to collect crash reports and error diagnostics so we can improve App stability. When you choose Send Feedback, you may optionally share your name, email, a description, and a screenshot captured in the App. Diagnostic and feedback data is processed according to Sentry’s privacy policy. Apple WeatherKit

We implement reasonable security measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access or disclosure.

Location Data: You can revoke location permissions at any time through your device settings.
